Launching a Top-Level Domain name, or domain name extension, with ICANN in 2012 offers better ways to reach and target a specific public like the Rugby people on Internet.
2013 will be a great year for the online rugby industry with domain names dedicated FOR rugby.
“.SKI” and “.SPORT” Top-Level Domains will be launched to allow domain names registrations such as www.pyrenees.SKI and www.brand.SPORT web addresses (or URLs).
There are several applications for the .RUGBY Top-Level Domain to be submitted and one applicant only will be chosen by ICANN to manage the registry for these domain names.
The .RUGBY applications will be made public in June the 13th on the ICANN web site. Then they will enter into their validation process.It will take between 8 and up to 20 months.
